A Message from Hanif. . .
"We have a new government, a new political animal, a coalition that brings different views together for a common end, UK success at home and abroad. In a way that's how I regard the work of the Hounslow Chamber, a strong blend of business expertise , passionate opinion along with a real sense of community. In my own business I have not always worked in competition with similar specialists in my industry. I have elected to work with them. When two focussed people in the same industry come together and combine resources or better still bring fresh ideas to the table a new collective ambition is born. That will enable them to punch higher. I have always known that egos have no place in successful business enterprise and the same applies when tackling social issues in our community. Aiming high will often surprise you. We should feel that we can work together bringing our intrinsic expertise together, no rivalries just a great sense of business purpose for both personal and community benefit. I want you to become involved, really involved in our timetable of chamber events this year. Talk to fellow members. Find out what business initiatives they are planning and whether you might dovetail with them, offering your own specialist brand of expertise. Often in our business lives we meet people seeking a particular business expertise. If that expertise is not something you can supply directly, there may well be someone in the Chamber who might. Get to know what your fellow members do, their specialties and their latest ideas. Remember, the Chamber works within a community and its needs should always be kept in mind. Recommend and refer, that's a motto worth keeping in mind. If someone recognises your honest enthusiasm for either a business initiative or respect for an individual it will give them confidence to take a positive step in the right direction step, maybe in a new business direction. Trust still has a place in business today. These days the world of politics and political decision-making affect us all, faster than ever before. Connect with local politicians and when the opportunity arises connect with Westminster and government politicians too. You're the voice of the business community in the Hounslow Borough. Everyone in the Hounslow Chamber is an ambassador for what we believe in; good business practice, ethical attitudes and care for the community we are part of. If you have a passion for a business idea or a community initiative, seek out like minded members and spearhead something new,. I'd like to see a high calibre team at the heart of the Chamber keen to place us at the leading edge of local business and committed to driving forward beneficial social ideas for the community, young and old alike. We all live here so lets live here safely, with a real sense of community and business drive. I'd like the Hounslow Chamber to be one of the leading chambers in the country with a growing membership that has the focus and ambition for local business success. I also envisage an executive committee that is sharper and which brings on board specialists in both business and community development". ____________________________________________________ He is passionate, enthusiastic and loves his works and these are the values he prescribes to everyone in his team.
